What's your Smith & Wesson model number?

Find the model number stamped on your frame — roll the cylinder out and look just below the barrel. Enter numbers only — leave off any dashes or letters (e.g. Model 10-4 = enter 10, Model 642PD = enter 642).

Finding The Right Grip

Smith & Wesson has 3 primary grip frames: Small (J), Medium (K, L, X, Z), and Large (N). Finding the proper frame size often can be confusing, as the caliber of the gun is not a good indicator of the size of the frame. Please use the model number of your gun to find your gun's grip frame in the list below.

Note: If you do not know your model number, most modern S&W revolvers have the model number stamped on the frame. Roll the cylinder out and inspect the area of the frame in front of the cylinder, just below the barrel.
