EU Customers — Right of Withdrawal Notice

This page explains how the European Union's 14-day right of withdrawal applies to purchases made on Badger Custom Grips, and why it does not apply to the products we currently offer to EU customers.

Why our products are exempt

Every product available for purchase and shipment to the European Union through Badger Custom Grips is made to order. Each grip is produced specifically for the individual order placed, built to the wood, finish, and customization options selected by the customer at checkout. No grip is manufactured or stocked in advance of an order.

Under Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), goods that are made to order or clearly personalised are exempt from the standard 14-day right of withdrawal that otherwise applies to online purchases. Because every item we sell to EU customers falls into this category, this exemption applies to all purchases made on this site by EU residents.

What this means for your order

By placing an order, you acknowledge that your purchase is for a custom-made product manufactured to your specifications, and that the standard EU 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply, since this right is specifically waived for made-to-order goods under EU law. If you wish to cancel your order before production has begun, please contact us directly as soon as possible. We accept pre-fulfillment cancellation requests whenever production has not yet started.

Our voluntary return policy and warranty

Although EU customers are not entitled to the standard 14-day right of withdrawal, Badger Custom Grips extends the same return policy and warranty to all customers, regardless of location, as a matter of our own business practice. These are separate from, and offered independently of, the EU right of withdrawal discussed above:

30-day return policy: If you are unhappy with your grip, you may return it within 30 days of receipt for a full refund, minus a 10% restocking fee. Additional shipping charges may apply if a return label is requested. Grips with customizations and/or modifications, as well as Badger Bargain grips, may not be eligible for a refund. Expedited processing and shipping fees are non-refundable.

1-year warranty: If your grip has a defect or malfunctions within one year of purchase, you may return it for a full refund or a replacement grip.

All returns require contacting us first. We do not offer automated or self-service returns. Before sending any item back, please email us at orders@badgercustomgrips.com so we can assist you. Many return requests are related to fit or installation questions that we are able to resolve directly — we ask that every return start with a conversation with us first.

Please note that Badger Custom Grips does not cover the cost of return shipping. Any return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
